There is something to be said about sharing your projects with other knitters because they really appreciate the work that went into even a scarf. With non-knitters you may just get "oh that looks pretty" but with knitters you get "oh what stitch is that? Where did you get the pattern? That must have taken forever?" With over thirty knitters there believe me there were a million questions about everyone's work.

Fashion Show
So, the Fashion Show was really fun last night at Noe Knit. It's not really so much a fashion show (though some people did wear there own FOs) as a show & tell. People brought everything from elaborate cabled or lace pieces to their first scarves. We shared what yarn it was, what patterns & got to fondle lots of beautiful stuff.

That looks like a lot of fun! The local yarn shop (Heritage Spinning & Weaving) has something similar on the first Friday evening of the month. You can get a lot of ideas from what other people are doing.
