yosemite

yosemite was such a beautiful place. matt & i had a great time camping among these amazing views

we did lots of hiking, ate lunch at the ahwahnee, visited the giant sequoia's in mariposa grove & just sat around the campfire. we saw lots of deer and a fox & finally on our last day a bear (not close enough to be scary though). if you would like to see all my photos they are here (matt took much more than me as he has the better camera)

it was a nice pre-honeymoon (as our best man calls it). now we are back & its just 27 days until the wedding. my head is swimming a little bit with all the final little details like booking the menus for the rehearsal & the reception, deciding which pair of shows is the right ivory for my dress, wrapping all the favors (luckily daria is helping) and on & on. i know it will all turn out beautifully but its in my nature to worry about it now.

i did a fair bit of knitting in the car to yosemite & back, finishing a bath puff and getting a good deal done on the clapotis. i actually think it may be done in time for the wedding as i'll start the decrease row section tonight. pics tomorrow...
