we got the pasta attachment for our kitchen aid so he took a stab at homemade pasta.
culurzones
these are called culurzones & they are stuffed with roasted butternut squash, chili pepper, rosemary & coliander. after cooked they are served in butter, basil & parmesan with baked goat cheese & squash seeds on top. they were so good.
the left over dough was turned into fettucine for later this week.

I got to start marking more things off my list such as more donuts & this vikings hat.

  1. I've always wanted to make homemade pasta but I don't have the machine...

That's awesome of him. I'm proud of my husband if he makes himself food the requires a pot. :)

  3. My mom used to work in a place in downtown Truckee that would make thier own pasta (the building blew up a number of years ago-has since been rebuilt and there is great candy store, but that is anotherstory).
I was about three years old- We would roll out the past in the front window of the resturaunt for passer-byers to see. I loved sitting in the window, being part of the display- and homemade past is one of the best things ever, especially with homemade pesto... mmmm.
