You know how it is when you wake up with a song in your head that you can't get rid of? Well this morning for me it was "Let's Get Together" from the original "Parent Trap." We're taking the Hayley Mills version here not the Lyndsy Lohan remake. So i'm walking around all day singing "Let's Get Together Yeah Yeah Yeah" Classic just classic. Now that I think about it I think I was dreaming about the scene from the movie where California Hayley cuts the back off Boston Hayley's dress at the dance. My mind works in strange ways. What songs do you get trapped in your head?

Thanks to my 13 year old niece, that freakishly annoying/addicting Numa Numa song always manages to creep into my head. That youtube video doesn't help! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm (ahem) in my fifties, and "The Parent Trap" is still one of my favorite guilty pleasure movies! And.. I also find myself singing "Let's get together, yeah yeah yeah."
