Spring Blossom

Matt went out for a bike ride today & I took the time to work on finishing some ufos. I wove in all the ends from the trim of the pink baby sweater I was working on & then decided to try some free hand embroidery based on Japanese prints & my current obsession with the spring flowers.

I have to say I'm pretty happy with what I came up with & i think it makes the sweater have a little something extra special.


Thanks to everyone who wrote about my problems with the sweater. I think the Yarngineer is right & when I took the back piece off the needle & measured it the size is right though the gauge is still slightly off. I'm perhaps stressing over this sweater too much because I want it to be nice enough that I actually want to wear it.

I planned on spending some time on my blogs this weekend updating the long overdue blog links...I read so many & should really list them...especially all of the great bloggers in Blog by Knitters but the weather has been so nice I've been unmotivated...maybe later this week.
