Minnesot -ah

Spent the long weekend in Minneapolis, enjoying some warm weather & revisiting some of my favorite places from my days living there.
Spoonbridge & Cherry

Brits
So much has changed there in the last ten years I barely recognize parts of downtown.
#146 - Make a wish
I almost forgot how green everything gets & was impressed but how clean the parks around the lakes are (there was no trash! I mean none!)

And what did I do with those 7 hours of flying? I taught myself to knit continental! Still not moving very quickly at it but I think the tension is staying pretty regular which is good. I'll keep practicing on the Harry Potter Scarves I'm doing for the store window since gauge isn't important.

I like the spoon and the cherry. Very cool! Knitting continental is the only way to go! Congrats.

  2. Oh cool. Knitting continental. I would love to, but so far haven't committed to learning it for any length of time. 7 hours on a plane might do it!

  3. Good ol' Claus Oldenburg (sp?)! I grew up in Minneapolis and I still miss it. I love the Malt Shop in SW Minneapolis, the Turtle Bread Company in the Linden Hills neighborhood, and going for walks around Lake Calhoun.
