#61 - First Quilt - Finished!

#61 - First Quilt...Finished!
I think I hand sewed for 8 hours but my first quilt is finished! I'm very proud of it despite all the mistakes. I've been wanting to learn to quilt for quite awhile so it feels good to actually sit down & do it. I have to thank my cousin for sucking me in to the Road To Spring Quilt-A-Long but showing me her gorgeous fabrics. I also have to thank Randi at I Have To Say. She did such a great job hosting the quilt-a-long & making it easier for us beginners. I really feel like I have the skills now to move ahead & make more quilts (I've already started cutting squares for the next one.)

Handmade 365 2010- My goal is to spend time everyday working on something handmade for a year & photograph it.
