back to work

well, its all over & we are back to work today. the honey moon was fabulous (other than matt getting a 101 fever the last day). my friend janet was spot on about the kenwood inn & spa.
kenwood inn & spa
it was absolutely beautiful & wonderfully run. by going mid-week we even had a pool all to ourselves.
kenwood inn & spa
matt got his first massage & facial ever. then we headed up to medocino & stayed at the joshua grindle inn which is a sweet littl b&b.
joshua grindle inn
since matt was sleeping on saturday i took the time to visit the mendocino yarn shop. the shop had moved & expanded since i was just there & was a pleasure to shop. i treated myself to a couple things...(the colors are awful in these photos)
schulana alpacino
i got this schulana alpacino in a heathered denim blue (looks nasty here doesn't it)for a zippered cardigan.
misti alpaca
and this misti alpaca in sage green & beige which i'm going to make throw pillows from.
the only knitting i did was well driving & on matt's wedding blanket. its taking forever because its going to be 5'8 by 5'0. its actually a beautiful cream cotton unlike what these pictures show.
wedding blanket
now i'm just catching up at work wondering why i bothered to write detailed emails on how to handle things while i'm gone since they didn't get handled....
