As for the new crafting adventure, I stopped by a used bookstore last Monday & found a Readers Digest Learn to Quilt Kit with everything intact. I couldn't resist so I picked up it. Its got everything in it to help you make your first square & also a project book. Then I discovered the Fat Quarters Shop through the Adorn Magazine Blog. I couldn't resist this Summer in the City Kit.
It comes with all the fabric for the front of the 16" x 16" quilt and directions plus a bunch more for $20. I just thought this looked like so much fun & figure I can find a little girl who needs a doll quilt some day. Matt even bought be a cutting mat & ruler as well as
I can't wait to try the vinyl quilted bag in here.
Yeah just what I need new projects!
Oh yeah & if you're in the Bay Area & going to Maker Faire this weekend make sure to stop by the Noe Knit booth & say hi. I'll be there.
I love the color combinations in that fat quarter quilt!
