I planned on posting a knitting update today but its a dark, getting read to storm sort of day & I'd like to show you all some pictures taken in decent lighting. So, later this week my finished (sort-of) Calvin Turtleneck & some tiny cabled (the cables are tiny not the socks) socks.
We'd really slowed down on doing stuff around the house over the last couple of months but now suddenly its starting to warm up & we can work outside.
Matt trimmed back the overgrown bushes on the side of the house.
I planted some heirloom tomatoes, marigolds & thyme along the other side. The rest of the herbs will go in this week.
We put in a new perennial garden in the backyard which the squirrels seem to love to dig in, sigh.
The first of our peas have begun to sprout. No sign of the beans yet though I'm afraid they may have been planted too early & we'll have to replant.
We've also planted lots of containers with bright reds, oranges & yellows all around the patio.
The best thing is the grill my parents got us for our birthdays is up & Matt is cooking some good eats!
What great photos! Love your garden!
