#149 - 151 The Side Garden

Almost all my time the last couple of days has been spent working on our side garden. We had to move some plants from the front yard to the side before the landscapers came to do the front yard over.
#149 - Still planning
I redrew the plan about 4 times & still the finished design wasn't anything like the final drawing I did on Saturday. A tree came out & all the land was graded.
#150 - New Side Yard Garden
Saturday we dug in an underground gutter system so we didn't have to have a gutter spout across the sidewalk. Then it was time to pick out the plant & decide where to put them. Followed by a couple inches of mulch.
#151 - Side Garden...now with Flowers
Sunday another overgrown bush came down & I got to have fun picking out & planting flowers. They are all reds & orange & yellow to match our patio furniture cushions, can't wait until they all come up. Next the flagstone pathway goes in...

Handmade 365 2010- My goal is to spend time everyday working on something handmade for a year & photograph it.
