We had a mad rush up to my parents visit but got the guest room finished the night before they arrive. Like all the other rooms in the house we still need to hang art on the walls.
Lots of other things got finished or arrived in week 6...
Brand new high efficiency washing machine.
The new gas line pasted inspection & the final install took place. This makes our living room so warm & cozy.
The sconces came back from being rewired and are now up. It really lightens that wall.
We painted the dining room. The new dining set is in & should be up soon.
Last week we put up the Christmas lights & wreath. I decided to make my own wreath this year using poinsettias instead of a bow. 
Its starting to feel like winter here with a snowy Thanksgiving.
That snow didn't last but its been cold since with temperatures in the teens and windchills below zero
