The tree is up & the house feels very Christmasy. I love it at night with the lights on, the fire going & the sconces on over the fireplace. The living room has come together well.
The new dining room set is completely in. Excuse the wrinkled tablecloth, non of our old ones fit this new table & I wanted something to protect it so I just grabbed this one at Target. The room still looks pretty bare without any art up though I'm guessing we won't get to that until after the holidays.
The buffet made its way up to my craft room/office & I can start emptying boxes. I unpacked a good deal of my knitting, sewing & quilting books. The top shelf is a good place to display some of my knit toys as well as the press flowers from my wedding that Jan made me & he painting my Dad did of his family's house in Grand Rapids, MN.
The decorating has slowed down as we get closer to the holidays & work on finishing off the Christmas shopping. I have lots & lots of wrapping to do.
What a pretty tree! You have a great Christmas in your new place...
