refections of a year gone by

Well another year has come & gone. Some of you may know that I challenged myself to take a picture everyday in 2007. It has been a challenge but also very rewarding. I've become a slightly better photographer, learned to look at the world around me more carefully and met some wonderful people through project 365 blogs & on Flickr. I also now have this wonderful keepsake of the year to look back on.

Like any year 2007 had its ups & downs. We dealt with the death of a friend.
#32 - Goodbye Alex
and shared in the weddings of four wonderful friends.
#125 - Mr. & Mrs. Cornish #279 - (almost) Mr & Mrs Pfeiffer
I was lucky enough through my friend Susi to attend both TNNA & work at Maker Faire
#14 - The TNNA Great Wall of Yarn & Thread #139 - I'm a Maker
I helped the record label I worked for for 6 years celebrate its ten year anniversary
#100 - Yea us!
then later this year left the music industry after many, many years. #254 - Occupation
Matt & I enjoyed living in San Francisco and all it had to offer
#35 - Queen Mary 2 in the San Francisco Bay
but made the decision to move back to the midwest this fall to be closer to family & buy a little dream house.
#229 - Could this be the one?
We spent an amazing third annual weekend on the Russian River with our friends before the move.
#244 - Russian River Morning
Then we got to see some gorgeous scenery on our drive from San Francisco to Minneapolis.
#281 - devil's orchard Jackson Lake
I celebrated my first anniversary with the most wonderful husband I could ever imagine having
# 288 - pinky swear
and who promises to keep my warm through my first Minnesota winter in 10 years.
#336 - December Sunset
As we turn the page from one year to the next
#365 - Turning the page
I wish you all a very happy new year!

tomorrow, the year in crafting...

What a nice summary of your year. I made a resolution to stop lurking on blogs. :)
