#257 - Christmas Tree Project

The souvenir that Matt & I look for on all our trips is a Christmas ornament so, we found ourselves in a Christmas shop in Bruges, Belgium. In the basement of the shop I found a little display of these crocheted trees.

I knew right away I wanted to try making some though knit not crocheted. I have some ideas to change it up a little especially with the stand where I'm thinking of using a small flower pot instead of just a square piece of wood. Tonight, I started playing with the knitting to get size & such.

Handmade 365 2010- My goal is to spend time everyday working on something handmade for a year & photograph it.
