day 2 of the lovely long weekend

No, cinnamon rolls this morning but we were so engrossed (read obsessed) with finishing the puzzle we started yesterday we didn't eat until it was time for turkey sandwiches & all the leftovers. But we did finish...



It was a lot of fun but I think next time we'll do a normal flat puzzle.

We got our tree, I picked the first one we looked at that must be some kind of record. Matt is busily hanging lights now though ornaments won't go up until next Saturday when we are having a tree trimming party.

We made Cheddar Beer soup from the recipe they gave us when we had it at the Awhanee Hotel in Yosemite. It wasn't quite as good as their's but yummy.

I finished a cardigan for the doll. It still needs a few snaps but otherwise its done. This sweater was a ton of work for something only 3 inches tall & I had to rip it back 4 times!
